From the desk of the Principal
Loyola College of Education aims at an integral and personalized training of young men and women to be well-motivated teachers who will be “genuinely men and women for others”.
Loyola College of education was started by Fr.Kenneth Judge S.J.an American Jesuit missionary in 1976 for training teachers for schools of Jharkhand and Bihar. There was then an acute scarcity of trained teachers in this region. It was his firm belief and conviction that well trained teachers would make a difference in the quality of education imparted in government and private schools. His effort has not been in vain. Most of the schools in the city have ex- students of our college as teachers. They make a difference in the quality of education that is imparted in the schools.
Today Loyola college of Education is one of leading training colleges in the state of Jharkhand. The training imparted here is very much appreciated by the local schools that many of the students are assimilated by them as soon as they complete the course.
The website will give a bird’s eye view of various activities that are going on in this college.
